“Couldn’t recommend the EcoBarn highly enough! We loved our week-long stay here, and the accommodation, setting and our host were all faultless. Firstly, the barn is wonderful— a real find! Beautiful interiors, amazing kitchen, plenty of space and the wood-burning stove was a lovely addition on cosy November nights. And such an amazing location! The Dentdale valley is a treasure, and there are some great walks from the front door. Highly recommend driving to Ribblehead Viaduct for the Ingleborough walk, also Keld, Malham Cove, and Kirkby Lonsdale and Kendall for dinner or a drink. Finally, we are so grateful to Becky for being such a great host, she was generous and thoughtful. We hope to return soon!”

What a wonderful eco barn. We visited as 2 couples for 3 nights over new year and didn’t want to leave! It’s in a beautiful location, we walked into Dent a couple of times to the pub/cafes. The scenery is stunning and the views from the barn are spectacular. There is everything you need at the property. The space feels luxurious and cosy at the same time. The kitchen equipment is super high spec, there is plenty of cooking space and we loved eating altogether at the beautiful table in the middle of the living space. We enjoyed playing and singing around the piano and chilling out on the lovely comfy sofas. Even though it was in the heart of winter,the barn was warm and cosy, even without the beautiful wood burning stove on. Becky also kindly left plenty wood for our 3 night stay. We would 100% recommend this property based on our host, the location and, of course the barn itself, which we were just in awe of.

The Eco barn was in a lovely setting and it was a very peaceful location. Becky communicated extremely well and we really appreciated the welcome hamper including treats for our dog. The barn is definitely quirky and Becky’s approach to being mindful of the environment was second to none. Thanks Becky for our stay at your beautiful barn.

I had an incredible stay at the EcoBarn! The surroundings were absolutely stunning, and the experience was truly amazing. Becky was a wonderful host, always attentive and welcoming. The property offered exceptional value for money, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway. Stayed as a group of 8 and really can’t recommend this place enough. This really is a special place and perfect for what we wanted. Becky’s communication was prompt and friendly. The barn was spotless and extra effort has been made to make you feel at home. It’s such a peaceful location and perfect for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Hope to be back someday.

All round beautiful experience. Incredible location, particularly for walking and views. Equally it is such a nice space to be in during the evenings and rainy days. We loved the original and beautiful decor and lovely kitchen. It really worked for us as a couple and hoping to come back with a larger group in the future.

What a place! Peaceful, remote and secluded location with stunning views. The Ecobarn has been one of favourite buildings to stay in. Located close enough to both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales for long days out exploring. Becky is a fantastic host and we won’t hesitate to come back and also recommend to family and friends who may be visiting the area

We had a wonderful stay at the Ecobarn. The scenery is simply stunning. The peace and tranquility was just what we needed and we spent a lot of time at the Ecobarn because the weather sadly wasn't on our side. It was warm, cosy and had all the facilities to make it feel like a real home from home. Becky was a wonderful host and we very much enjoyed the vegan goodies she left for us. We would highly recommend the Ecobarn for anyone truly wishing to escape from their busy lives.

“Having always wanted to go the Yorkshire dales, we came across the Eco Barn in the most beautiful spot tucked away with the most incredible views.

The barn itself is so cosy, a beautiful open plan living space and a fireplace with gorgeous rustic decor. The beds and bedding were so comfortable and such wonderful quality, I haven’t slept that well in so long!

The surrounding areas are so picturesque and exactly what I imagined it to be like, we went on some beautiful walks to explore and found a nearby stream where we could paddle. The nearby towns have quaint buildings and cafes, with shops around 15/20 minute drives in various directions.

Becky has an amazing eye for details and is the most perfect host, the fresh bread and butter on arrival was divine. We would highly recommend the Eco barn as a place to escape and truly relax. With so much to see and do in the surrounding areas, you simply cannot get bored with the beauty to be found”.

We had a great stay at Becky’s over the Christmas weekend - check in and directions were all smooth and the place was clean and as described - we were also pleasantly surprised with a lovely Christmas tree which added to the festive atmosphere! The surroundings are stunning and Becky was a super responsive and helpful host. Would definitely recommend!

Had a lovely stay - Beckie was super helpful. Lots of lovely little touches (lavender sprig on the pillows was a new one for me)
Very well cared for property and super commitment to eco / reducing environmental impact - planting a tree to offset our stay another nice touch.
location super peaceful with lovely views - can also walk to Dent (about 20 - 30 mins) for pubs and food.

We had the most incredible stay at the EcoBarn - the most incredible views and a secluded peaceful hideaway. Everything was beautifully presented and there were extremely thoughtful touches from our lovely host Becky. We knew she'd be there if we needed anything at all but also allowed us to feel like we were in our own world. I can't imagine a better place to stay, will be raving about it to anyone who will listen

Just came back from a long weekend at the EcoBarn and what a fantastic gem this was. We loved the privacy of the barn, how quiet it was and suited us perfectly. Becky was a fantastic host, so responsive and excellent information to help us for our trip. The barn itself was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything there you could possibly need. The extra touch of leaving us some delicious bread, butter, milk, jam and oil was also very appreciated. Thank you Becky for such a perfect stay!

“The EcoBarn of Dreams. We knew from the minute we turned off of the M6 that’s this was going to be a special holiday. Driving through the wonderful countryside that flanks the Barn filled us with the escapism that we needed.

On entering the barn it is plain to see the love the owner Rebecca has for it and it’s surroundings. The place was spotless and the finishing touches like the perfectly made bed and lavender on your pillow made it feel 5 stars!

All the amenities are great, from coffee makers to the wonderful Range it really does feel like a home from home. We will be coming back and We will be recommending it to anyone who wants to listen. Thank you Rebecca”

Becky is a superb host and made us feel really welcome with fresh bread and eggs on arrival. The Ecobarn is a very special place with the most amazing views - I would never tire of sitting and watching the changes in the view as the day goes by. A great place from which to appreciate everything that the Dales has to offer.

This was our second visit to the Ecobarn and we've really enjoyed both stays. It has a lovely spacious feel and is really peaceful and quiet. With a dining table and everything you need in the kitchen it's easy to prepare family meals.
We hope to visit again soon - a lovely place to stay with great views.

We had such an amazing stay at the ecobarn. The barn itself is beautiful, Becky has really made a lovely space for relaxation, and was a really helpful and thoughtful host. The location is fabulous too; stunning views, lovely wild garden, walkable to Dent for cafés and pubs. Also a great location for exploring, we did loads of walks straight out of the door plus drove to Ullswater, Ribblehead, Austwick for walks and pretty local towns Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale. We'll be back!

We had a lovely long weekend in the ecobarn, the building was exactly as described and had everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful, no light pollution so the night sky was incredible! Becky is a very helpful and responsive host, we were completely left to ourselves but I knew I could get in touch if we needed anything. Thank you for a wonderful stay x
